Santa Croce is in a beautiful situation, placed on a hill from wich you can admire the old famous towers of San Gimignano.

You can easily walk to the town because the distance is only 500 mt. If you'd like to visit charming towns like Volterra, Siena and Florence, you just have to drive for few Kilometers.

In the Middle Age Santa Croce was a pleasant area where the pilgrims used to stop when the convent of S. Agostino was complete.
